so who's Nelly?

the first time i heard Nelly's music it quite simply blew me away with its dope beats and seamlessly blended styles of music that go along so well with her voice. after reading her bio, i'm not sure which has intrigued me more.. the freshness of these sounds or how amazing of a person she must be.

rarely does any artist let out so much of them self, either from feeling the need or maybe just taking the time to do so.  i couldn't believe how much music she wrote about as being an influence to her.  she even noted Pharcyde's 'Passin Me By' specifically, which has been one of the first songs i always bring to people's attention when trying to show them what good hip-hop is all about.

her passion for life and music.. to experience more than could ever be imagined from just one area, again, is something i find to be rare among people.  even getting people to open up to more styles of music than they're used to is almost impossible.. but there's so much to be learned from each, and i can't wait to hear more from Nelly. -Kyle
